ABOUT THE FLUTIST
The flutist, Arvis, was born in Austin, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas. Growing up in a musical household, she has come to enjoy all types of music. She plays flute and piccolo in the Austin Wind Symphony, as well as flute, piccolo, and keyboards for the hilarious, all-girl cha cha band Las Gabacha-chas. Her favorite artist to duet with is the amazing harpist Amanda Woosely.
Arvis has played flute and piano most of her life and has received numerous awards and acknowledgements. Her sound has been described as "heavenly."
